In its territory, at Capo Bianco, at the mouth of the Platani, he establishes the old Eraclea Minoa.

The historic city suffered hard in disputes between Selinunte and Agrigento, and between the Carthaginians and Romans. The late sixth century, Minoa came under the dominion of Akragas.
